The innate goodness we all possess
Though taints of hurt seem to mark our skin,
It’d be so much better if we looked within.
When we solely look with our eyes,
It’s unlikely that we’ll find,
Every man’s inner kindness- their golden inside.
Give love a chance- it’s an opportunity to see,
When you look with your heart- beautiful people you’ll meet.
Maybe just a shred of good, a glimmer of light in the dark.
Give good some hope and light a chance, in this world you’ll make your mark.
And although this world may be a dark, horrible place.
All alone in it, you do not have to face.
Give your heart and spread kindness wherever you are.
You’ll attract the golden inside- it will never be too far.
